Early Pregnancy Unit
Our team is committed to providing exceptional care to all our patients and we have highly trained professionals on staff to deliver the highest standards of care. Our newly renovated clinic will serve early pregnancy scan and anatomy scan patients, and physiotherapy patients.
Referrals to the offsite EPU will be accepted from;
- General Practitioner –via the EPU email address, or directly to EPU on 021-4927441
- CUMH Emergency Department/ Gynaecology ward CUMH –via iPIMS or directly to EPU 021-4927441
- Pregnancy Loss Clinic –advise patient to contact EPU directly once pregnant 021-4927441
- Fertility clinics/Private Ultrasound facilities – via the EPU email address or on 021 4927441
All referrals received will be triaged clinically and an appropriately timed appointment will be scheduled. It is important women are haemodynamically stable at the time of referral. If there are any changes in a woman’s symptoms after the referral has been accepted, please phone the EPU directly on 021-4927441 or the CUMH emergency room on 021-4920545 for advice +/-assessment.
*Women that are acutely unwell or haemodynamically unstable should not be referred to the offsite early pregnancy unit
