Post Natal Breastfeeding Services
The following postnatal breastfeeding services are available to you on your discharge home.
- Your Public Health Nurse (PHN) will contact you to arrange to visit you at home
- The Breastfeeding helpline in CUMH: Text or call and leave a message with your name and contact details (Monday - Friday) Contact: 087 6623874 / 021-4920752
- "Ask Our Breastfeeding Expert" on Mychild.ie. Live chat with a breastfeeding expert Monday - Friday 10am -3pm, and emails are read 7 days a week.
- HSE Breastfeeding Support Groups in the community: Please click here or ask your PHN for information on your local group, as all new groups may not be on the HSE site yet. Groups run in Carrigaline, Blackrock/Mahon, Macroom, Mallow, Newmarket, Fermoy, Farrenree, Glanmire, Whitechurch, Cobh, Clonakilty, Bandon, Ballincollig and Bantry.
