HSE App Research in CUMH

HSE App Research in CUMH

The HSE is building a patient app that will make it easier for you to access your health information and take an active role in your care. Feedback from the public, patients and healthcare staff is essential in helping us build the app.

About the study

We’re delighted that Cork University Maternity Hospital (CUMH) has agreed to help us carry out research with staff and patients. By taking part, you can help us improve how we support people in pregnancy.

Participant criteria:

We're looking for people who meet the following criteria:

  1. You are more than 12 weeks pregnant and on the Supported Care Pathway
  2. You have a Public Services Card
What you’ll need to do:
  1. As a participant, you'll be asked to use the app and complete short surveys telling us about your experience.
  2. We’ll run some short interviews and a focus group at the end of the study. Your privacy and confidentiality will be strictly maintained throughout the study.
Why participate?

Your participation will mean that the app is designed to meet the needs of other pregnant people to help with their care journey.

You’ll also help shape the future design and development of the HSE app to make it more user-friendly for everyone.
