Visiting Times

Patients can attend antenatal and gynaecology appointments with their nominated support person.
Partners or nominated persons can attend ultrasound departments for early pregnancy scans, dating scans and anatomy scans.

Partner or nominated person can attend from 7am to 11pm.
General visiting hours for other visitors: To allow for the care and comfort of all our patients please note a maximum of 2 visitors (excluding partner/nominated support person) are permitted per patient:
Visiting times: 3:00pm – 4:00pm & 7:00pm – 8.30pm. Please be conscious of other patients and staff when visiting.
Unexpected events and complications are reviewed on an individual basis.

The birthing partner can attend when the patient is transferred to the Delivery Suite.
The birthing partner can attend for the birth.
The birthing partner can attend for delivery by caesarean section.
In the antenatal period any patient wishing for the attendance of a Doula in addition to the birthing partner must make the request to the hospital.
Any unexpected events or circumstances are reviewed on an individual basis.

When a baby is in the Neonatal Unit both parents can visit their baby together at the same time.

Partners or nominated person can attend following pregnancy loss diagnosis and any subsequent visits.
